Hello Internet! I’m Armani and I am I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to join the amazing team at The Spark Mill. I’ve been in Richmond for 20 years and continue to be inspired by what the city has to offer, culturally and professionally. To say that I am excited to be apart of the astonishing team at The Spark Mill, would be quite the understatement.



Allow me to introduce myself with 20 things about myself I’d like you to know!

  1. I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We moved to Northern Virginia when I was very young, but I’m still super judgey on the quality and composition of a “Cheesesteak” vs. a Steak and Cheese.

  2. I have a mild shoe addiction.

  3. I worked in the Museum industry for 13 years. 

  4. I met my wife while we both worked at the Science Museum of Virginia.

  5. I enjoy cooking, like really enjoy cooking. Deep-Fried Baby Back Ribs and Yakatori Chicken Wings are two of my favorite dishes.

  6. I have a daughter who is the best person I have ever met, even when she's not.

  7. My first car was a 1984 BMW 528e (purchased in 2000) that I bought for $400. It had… questionable brakes was riddled with small dents from a bad hail storm and had 254,000 miles on it. 

  8. Halloween is my favorite holiday.

  9. I love anything seafood.

  10. Cheesecake is a magical substance.

  11. I don’t do spiders.

  12. Prior to joining The Spark Mill, I worked in IT Support.

  13. I make my own beef jerky.

  14. I have 2 older brothers. 

  15. Key Lime Pie is my absolute favorite dessert.

  16. I love scary movies.

  17. Taco Bell is my favorite guilty pleasure food.

  18. The spicier the food, the better.

  19. I‘m one of those people that love drinking a tall glass of whole milk.

  20. I have an obsession with LED light accessories. Shoes, Bracelets, suspenders, masks, glasses, and even a backpack.
