Acceleration for Nonprofits in the Richmond Region Goes Virtual
We are thrilled to announce the participants and mentors who will kick off a six-week acceleration journey this week through Thrive: Virtual Acceleration for Social Good. They are a great mix of small to mid-size nonprofits representing the health care, education, social service, and arts/culture sectors. We are delighted to work with these local nonprofits over the next six weeks as they spend intentional time preparing for the future. You can catch a glimpse of the mentors and participating organizations here.
We are also delighted because this experience is a collaboration between three organizations committed to strengthening the nonprofit ecosystem to drive greater impact. Thrive is hosted by The Collaboratory of Virginia through the generous support of The Community Foundation for a Greater Richmond, and The Spark Mill created and is facilitating it.
Thrive: Virtual Acceleration for Social Good, is a part of our Mission Forward nonprofit acceleration suite. We designed Thrive to help local NPOs prepare for life beyond COVID-19 by focusing on their mission, vision, and values to evaluate and drive strategic goals and decisions in an evolving environment. Since we have been hosting acceleration events around the Commonwealth for the last few years we are excited at the change to adapt to a virtual model.
