More and Less - What Does the New Year Have In Store for Your Team?

For several years now, I have been a New Year’s resolution hater - it's a lot of pressure and you can game the system by putting things you know you will tackle. Some folks are super oriented towards goal setting and I say, more power to you.  This morning, maybe while you are reading this newsletter, our team will be diving into our own examination of more and less.

This is a great prompt to pass over to your team to engage everyone in planning for the year and setting intentions - doing it publically allows for accountability up and down the organizational ladder. Pair it with everyone making at least one commitment to make it happen and grant space for any requests team members may need to achieve their goals. Here's a snapshot of my own "more" list for work:

In 2024 - I desire more:

  • Projects that cause goosebumps

  • Community-Led Transformations

  • Bold Moves

  • Wicked Problems

  • Groups craving creativity
