Tina is the Director Missions and Outreach at Ebenezer Church in Stafford, Virginia, where she has the pleasure of serving those who serve, supporting leaders, building partnerships in the community, traveling with mission partners and helping steer Ebenezer’s vision of mission and outreach. She began her professional career in hospitality, working for seven years as a convention manager Hilton Hotel Corporation in DC. Between the two roles, she had the great joy of raising three children, growing in her faith, and embarking on a career of volunteer service. Reading, travel, and family time feed her soul!
Bret is the campus minister at Wesley at Virginia Tech. Campus Ministry is the space where he lives out his call into ordained ministry in the United Methodist Church. It is a place of craziness and chaos, and it is beautiful to see God’s work in the midst of all of it. Bret is passionate about serving others and living into my strengths (from Strengthsfinder 2.0) of being a Woo, Restorative, Empathy, Harmony, and Includer to enable others to live into who God is calling them to be. ! He values his family, coaching, leadership development, and being in community with others. He and his wife, Erin, and I have 2 girls (Clara - 8 and Lawson - 5) who keep them on their toes and whom they love dearly.
Christa is the CEO of a local non-profit organization (CCHASM) that meets the critical needs of area residents who are facing a crisis situation. CCHASM, the Chesterfield Colonial Heights Alliance for Social Ministry, is a consortium of 150+ faith-based organizations that work collaboratively accomplish their collective mission. She brings over 10 years experience owning small businesses across multiple industries, including manufacturing, service, retail and digital media. Christa is an avid traveler with a dream to visit all 50 states before her 50th birthday. (Only 6 states to go!) Or simply enjoying her own backyard with her husband and 3 kids. Because, let's face it, 3 kids makes every experience an adventure!
CONAWAY B. HASKINS III
Conaway currently serves as the statewide Extension Specialist for Economic & Entrepreneurial Development in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at Virginia Tech where he initiates and leads a number of statewide partnerships and programs for Virginia Cooperative Extension. He has spent over 15 years helping institutions and individuals navigate challenges and opportunities in economic development, nonprofit management and public policy at the local, state, and national levels.
Jonathan is the Lead Pastor of Fieldstone UMC in the New River Valley of Virginia. He's originally from Virginia Beach and holds degrees from Christopher Newport University and Duke Divinity School. He's married to Kelly, a special education teacher, and they have three dogs. Jonathan loves great books and podcasts and is passionate about learning, leading, and loving others.
Doug is Vice President of Europe and Middle East (EMEA) for Exabeam, a cyber security software company based in San Mateo, California. He's spent his career working with start-up and growth stage technology companies in a variety of sales and customer facing roles both in the US and overseas. He enjoys building diverse, high performing teams. Doug attended James Madison University and has lived in Richmond for the last 19 years with his wife Margaret and 3 busy kids Elizabeth (12), Will (10) Anna (7) and their 3 year old Goldendoodle Elsa.
